Born Roderick Terrell Holman on August 18, 1983 in the small town of Jacksonville, Texas, life for me was all of interesting. I'm the second oldest of two brothers and two sisters, and the son of two awesome parents.

  Most people spend there whole lives trying to figure out what they want to do with, but not me; I quickly figured out that music would be my tool. Singing in Church at the age of 12 is where it all started for me, but it would not stop there.  After I graduated JHS, I took a small life detour into the U.S. Air Force where I served 4 years and received an honorable discharge. After the military, I went into college for a bit to get my degree, in music performance, and teacher ed, so I could maybe teach music in school one day.

After all of this, I felt like something was missing, and after praying about it, I met my brother Charles C. He and I shared the same outlooks of life, and not long after meeting him, he had the bright idea to start a company, .hence the name Striving To Perfection Ent. (STP). WE will be bringing you a sound like no other; we'll put a twist on the ordinary sound of gospel music, and make it extra-ordinary. To this day, we are pushing our brand on multiple platforms, whether it be podcasting or music, to encourage, inspire, and uplift others using God's word.

In the days to come, STP will be doing alot in 2021. We will be doing live shows virtually and in person. We will be bringing new music to our fans on a weekly basis, as well as our podcasts.
